Physical Education Year at a Glance

Kindergarten and first grades

• 1st Trimester Spatial Awareness, Locomotor Movements, Manipulative Skills( throwing, catching, kicking)

• 2nd Trimester Manipulative Skills (volleying, striking, dribbling, low organized games) Balance

• 3rd Trimester Manipulative Skills ( striking with short and long handled implements) Skills into games

• Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Cooperation, Nutrition, Field Day Activities

Second and third grades

• 1st Trimester Chasing, Fleeing, Dodging, Manipulative Skills ( throwing, catching, kicking) Fitness Testing
